Great, not another guy up on his soapbox, letting everyone know what he thinks and how they should do things.

Well the reason I'm putting this here is so that you have a bit of an understanding on how I think about reef keeping related things, make decisions, and process information.

OK, this is just a little about myself, for those that may be interested. I've got the feeling that may be no one, but just in case you have an occurrence of insanity, or have heaps of time to kill .... here it is.

As with most people, I have a wide variety of different interests and hobbies that I participate in. Here is a couple of them and in the future I plan to add more extensive information on each with pictures etc.

I have always had an intersted in astronomy and use to check a few things out as a kid. Was lucky enough to get some great views of Halleys Comet when it cam past too. Then awhile ago my interested was pricked a bit more, my wife got me a 60mm refractor with acrylic lenses and some how I found out that you can make your own telescope. Including making a very accurate mirror from a slab of glass. Well, I thought I have just gotta have a go at this since I love building things, can't really afford to get a good quality telescope and how many people can say they have built themselves a telescope?
