Cassiopea sp. actually lives on the sea floor unlike other jellyfish. It lies on the sandy bottom and points its bushy arms directed upwards. They can easily be mistaken for an anemone.

What cylinder size for carbon dioxide should I use? PDF Print

There are two commonly available sizes of carbon dioxide cylinders available, D and VT. The specifications for those are as follows, without valves:

Size Code Nominal Tare weight
(kg)
Nominal Height
(mm)
Nominal Outside Diameter
(mm)
Nominal Water Capacity
(kg or litres)
VT 13.5 625 215 15.3
D 10.0 585 175 9.5

D use to be the more commonly used size, but now it is starting to move towards VT. The VT lasts longer before having to refill, since it contains about 60% more gas.
