OZ REEF is a personal web site on one of my hobbies; keeping a reef aquarium. Plus is it what my reef aquarium is called, so there is the link between the two. This site is filled with information about my own reef aquarium, a gallery of photographs, general reef keeping articles and a lot of do it yourself information and links.

If this is your first visit then a couple of key features that you may be interested in checking out are as follows:

• Journal : bit of a journal I am starting again on the happenings within OZ REEF. You can also find here the old issues of the monthly newsletter that I use to have the time to publish, OZ REEF Press, which I have almost put all the old issues here, few more to go.
• Library : a collection of articles written by myself and some other authors on the reef keeping hobby.
• DIY Links : the most comprehensive list of DIY reef keeping project links that you will find anywhere. Currently up to 483 links as of 12/01/2006, with a significant number still to add.
• Gallery: an every expanding collection of photographs of my reef aquarium. Covers equipment, livestock and other things to do with a reef aquarium. Most images are actually linked to in some way form articles elsewhere on this website.

The Marine Aquarium Society of Victoria (MASOV) is a society for all those interested in marine aquaria. It has been in existance for around 30 years. Members are not limited to just an interest in tropical reef aquariums, but also covers temperate fish, corals and invertebrates.

There is a wealth of experience in the members over a wide range of areas within the hobby. If you are located in the state of Victoria, then consider joining up. There are a number of advantages of being a member of a society, including networking with others in the hobby, being able to ask questions of those that have had the same sorts of issues, access to some generous discounts with various businesses, and numerous social events.
