Old Camera PDF Print

The camera that use to be used to produce the images on this site was a Canon PowerShot 350.

This is an old camera, probably about 4-5 years, but the price was right (donated to me by a fellow hobbyist that upgraded to a better camera, thanks Paul :) ) and it takes very good macro shots for the type of camera that it is. The two major problems with it though is that it doesn't take very good shots of moving objects, such as fish, and doesn't have any zoom capability. So anything that is away from the glass is impossible to get a close up.

Some of the better images taken so far are below.

Mycedium elephantotus, close up.

Cilopagurus strigatus, orange hermit crab.

Vermitid snails.

Black cucumber, Holothuria atra, close up of feeding tentacles
